DANISH INDIA, Tranquebar, Christian IV, (1620-1648), lead cash (kas), c.1636, obv. DA/NISB/ORG, rev. ST./[I]ACO/B, (Gray 8, KM.16). Off centred on the reverse, otherwise very fine and rare.

The ship's name was Sankt Jacob, arrived in Tranquebar on September 3, 1636, but wrecked in 1640, 16 were drowned and the cargo was lost.
