CAMBAY, Ja'far Ali Khan, (A.H. 1297-1333, A.D. 1880-1915), in his name, silver rupee, regal year 17, AH 1313, 11.4 grams, this issue probably struck in 1895-6, (KM. Y.10); copper of Cambay assorted types (7); Cannanore, silver fifth rupee, AH 1163 (KM.5); Chota Udaipur, copper two paisa (2), one paisa (2), (KM.Y.2, 4 [2], 5 [2]); Cochin (5), minor silver issues, one and two puttuns. Fine - very fine, all in envelopes described. (19)

Cambay a port located at the Gulf of Cambay became a separate state from about 1730.
