WESTERN GANGES (GANGES OF TALKAD), anonymous gold pagoda, (c.1080-1138 or later), (3.9 grams), obv. highly ornamented and fully caparisoned elephant to right, rev. complex floral design filling the entire coin, another similar gold fanam, (0.37 grams), (M.702, 703). Stuck on small flan, otherwise good very fine. (2)
