BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Hermaeus, (c.40-1 B.C.), silver drachm, (2.128, 2.334 grams), obv. Hermaeus diademed bust to right, around **BASILEWS SOTHROS ERMAIOU*, rev. Zeus seated to left holding sceptre, monograms in left or right field, (S.7741, M.415t, 419g). Attractive tone, good very fine, scarce.

Ex Spink and Son, London, July 1973 (Å“45) for the first coin.
