The original edition now hard to obtain, with its superb colour and B/W plates of Greek coins. The book written by the former keeper of coins in the British Museum replaces Seltman's work on Greek Coins. It is a standard work on the coinage of the ancient Greek series and should be in every library for students and collectors in this series.
