CARINUS, (A.D. 283-285), issue struck as Augustus, Rome mint, billon antoninianus, (3.738 grams), obv. IMP CARINVS P F AVG, radiate cuirassed bust to right draped and cuirassed of Carinus, rev. around FIDES MILITVM, Fides standing to left, holding two standards, KAE in exergue, (S.3465, RIC 251, C.31). Attractive brown patina, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
