ROMAN REPUBLIC, M. Atilius Seramus, (148 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.924 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head right, SARAN behind, X before, rev. Dioscuri on horseback to right, M ATILI below horses, ROMA in exergue, (S.-, Cr.214/1b, Syd.398). Even grey patina, good very fine and scarce.
