PALESTINE, Judaea, Seleucid issue of Antiochus VII for John Hyrcanus I, (134-76 B.C.), issued 132-130 B.C., AE 14, (2.59 grams), obv. anchor upside down flanked by legent (traces visible), rev. lily, dotted border, (S. 7101, H.451 (6), AJC 1-3 p.160). Dirt adhesion, otherwise fine and scarce.

These were issued in connection with Antiochus' campaign in Judaea during which he captured Jerusalem c.132 B.C.
