ZEUGITANIA, Carthage, (c.early 3rd century B.C.), silver shekel or didrachm, (6.998 grams), obv. head of Tanit to left, wreathed with corn, wearing necklace, dotted border, rev. horse standing to right looking back, palm tree behind, star before, (S.6491, SNG Cop. 141, M.108). Porous field, otherwise good very fine and scarce.
