ZEUGITANIA, Carthage and Hanniballic Occupation, (c.213-210 B.C.), silver half shekel or denarius, (3.700 grams), possibly Sicilian mint (Akragas?), obv. head of beardless male head wreathed with corn to right (Triptolemus), dotted border, rev. horse galloping to right, with Punic letter 'H' below, all within laurel wreath, (S.-, SNG Cop.378). Light scratches on reverse as graffiti, otherwise an atractive brightness, good very fine and rare.
