CRETE, Polyrhenion, 2nd - 1st century B.C., silver hemidrachm, (1.775 grams), obv. draped bust of Artemis Diktynna three-quarter face to right, bow and quiver at shoulder, rev. naked Apollo standing right, holding bow and arrow, **POLURH NIWN* either side, (S.3354 [£175], Sv.43 [p.282, pl.xxvi,22], BMC 20-22 (p.68), Hunter 4). Nearly very fine and very rare.
