ATTICA, Aegina, (490-475 B.C.), silver stater, (11.996 grams), obv. smoothed shell sea turtle with row of dots down dorsal spine, rev. early small 'skew' design, (S.1858 [£350], Asyut Group VIIa 'small skew' cf.541-5, SNG Delepierre 1723). Good very fine, with several striking cracks on edge, dumpy flan as usual for this Group.

Asyut hoard suggests the chronology to be after 485 B.C.
