CHINA, A jade pendant in the form of four creatures around a bi-disc decorated with raised beads and rims in a pale brown and green stone jade 5.5 cm wide. Very fine, rare.

An illustration of another example of this type of jade carving may be found in Tanner (1925 No.13, Plate 8), see photo copy supplied, this illustrates a far more elaborate example of this type of carving that is in a greenish-yellow jade.
