KADAMBAS OF HANGAL, anonymous type but citing Nakaresvara the patron deity of Bankapura, (c.A.D. 1075-1190), gold pagoda, (4.228 grams), obv. Hanuman seated cross-legged to right with Chowry and sankh on either side, in exergue 'Nakara', rev. ornamental scrollwork and border, (M.666, Spink-Taisei Sale 9 [lot 206 realised $425US]. Nearly extremely fine and rare.
