INDIA, East India Company, Madras Presidency, Indian Style Coinage, Hindu System, Gold star pagoda, c.1740-1807, Struck at Madras mint, (3.396 grams), obv. crude half standing figure of a deity, rev. five pointed star within dotted borders, (Pr. 9, KM. 303). Extremely fine, scarce.
