EDWARD VIII, 1937. Set of four privately issued Australian pattern/proof crowns struck in (.925) silver, copper, Barton's metal (gold plated copper) and golden alloy. Obverse crowned effigy of King sculpted by Donald R. Golder is similar to that of George V on Australian coinage. Reverse is akin to Kruger Gray's adopted design. Plain edge. One of only 450 sets issued. (4)
