TERRITORY OF NEW GUINEA, George VI, Royal Mint pattern threepence 1937, in cupro-nickel (1.38 grams) edge plain. Nearly FDC and excessively rare, only two others known both in the Royal Mint Collection.

Ex Spink Noble Sale 34 (lot 1259) and previously in the AHF Baldwin Collection and probably obtained from Sir Robert Johnson, Deputy Master of the Mint.
