TERRITORY OF NEW GUINEA, George VI, Royal Mint pattern sixpence, 1937, in cupro-nickel (2.72 grams) edge straight grained (or milled). FDC and unique.

Ex Spink Noble Sale 34 (lot 1065) and previously in the AHF Baldwin Collection and probably obtained from Sir Robert Johnson, Deputy Master of the Mint. The Royal Mint Collection does not have an example, this specimen is believed to be unique.
