LUCIUS VERUS, (A.D. 161-169), AE as, issued 161, Rome mint, (10.60 grams), obv. IMP CA[ESAR L AVRELI]VS VERVS AVG, bare head to right of Lucius Verus, rev. Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus standing with clasped hands facing each other, around CONCORD AVGVSTOR TR P, S C across field, COS II in exergue, (cf.S.1546, RIC 1288, C.31). Small flan, very dark patina, otherwise very fine and rare.
