SICILY, Syracuse, Hieron II, (275-215 B.C.), AE 20, (6.6 grams), obv. head of Poseidon to left wearing tainia, rev. ornamental trident-head between two dolphins, dividing **IER WNOS*, in lower left field **LT*, (S.1223, SNG ANS 994-997). Attractive very fine and a scarce variant.
