SICULO-PUNIC, mint of the camp, (c.300-290 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.918 grams), obv. head of young Melqart or Heracles wearing lion skin to right, rev. horse's head to left, palm tree behind, Punic legend 'MHSBM' below, border of dots, (S.6436, Dewing ACNAC 983, Jenkins SNR 57, [Series 5b] 391 [same dies, O120/R319). Dark tone, dumpy flan as usual good very fine and scarce.
