ITALY, Punic coinage under Carthage, time of Hannibal, (c.215-205 B.C.), AE 27 (sextans), uncertain mint, (19.892 grams), obv. head of Apollo to right, dotted border, rev. horse standing right, sun-disk between two uraeus-cobras, (S.-, Robinson [Num. Chron. 1964] Group II No.6 [p.45 No.6, Pl.V, 17]. SNG Cop. 365-366). Nearly very fine and rare.
