SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Laodicea ad Mare, Antoninus Pius, (A.D. 138-161), AE 23, (9.676 grams), issued year 190 = A.D. 142-3, obv. Antoninus Pius laureate bust to left, draped, around [AVTOKAI]TIA**D*P ANT**W*NEINON CEV, rev. Tyche turreted bust to left, around traces of IOV**LIEWN TWN KAI LAODIKEWN* TP, in left field C/ KA before bust, (cf.S.1497, BMC 67 [p.256], SNG Cop. 352). Dark brown patina, very fine and scarce.
