SYRIA, Kingdom of, Demetrius I, (162-150 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.666 grams), Antioch mint, issued period 152-151 B.C., obv. diademed head of Demetrius to right within laurel wreath border, rev. Tyche seated to left with leg of throne a winged monster, holds sceptre and cornucopiae, to right **BASILEWS, to left **DH MHTRIOU, SOTHROS, monograms to left, **AXR* in exergue, (S.7015 [£200], SMA Newell 119, BMC 178-9). Good very fine, scarce.
