CORINTHIA, Corinth, (350-306 B.C.), silver stater, (8.390 grams), obv. Pegasos flying to left, [Q] below, rev. head of Athena to left, wearing plain Corinthian helmet, Athena Nicephorus on right behind to left holding Nike and spear, I before, (cf.S.2641, Calciati 458 [p.270, 2 reported], Ravel 1082 [p.267, Pl.LXIX, 6 reported]. Bright, off centred on the reverse, otherwise very fine and rare.
