CORINTHIA, Corinth, (370-350 B.C.), silver stater, (8.578 grams), obv. Pegasos flying to left, Q below, rev. head of Athena to left, wearing laureate Corinthian helmet, eagle behind to left looking back, A before P below, (cf.S.2626, Calciati 426 [p.262, 2 reported], BMC 258-9, Ravel 1008 [p.252, Pl.LX], [very similar dies], Leu Num. 72 May 1998 lot 217 similar dies [realised 834 SFr.]). A nice toned and well centred coin, good very fine and rare.
