ATTICA, Athens, (130-110 B.C.), AE 17, hemiobol, (4.158 grams), obv. head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet, rev. Zeus naked to right hurling thunderbolt, A **QE across, pileus of the Dioskouroi to left and right, (S.-, Sv.Pl.81, 33-39; Athenian Agora 94 [p.73, Pl.9, 69 examples found], SNG Cop. 299). Attractive dark patina, very fine, scarce.
