MACEDON, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.012 grams), 'Amphipolis' mint, issued c.323-320 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin with dotted border, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, cornucopiae to left, to right **ALEXANDROU*, (cf.S.6713, Price 108, BMC 108a-c, M.369, SNG Cop. 681). Good fine.
