THRACE, Pantikapaion, (4th century B.C.), AE 19, (5.630 grams), obv. head of young Pan or Satyr to left with pointed ear, wreathed with ivy, rev. lion's head to left, sturgeon to left below, around **P A N*, (S.1701, BMC 22, Weber 2696); another similar AE 21 (5.318 grams) with countermark of twelve pointed star on obverse and bow in case on reverse, (BMC 23, Weber 2697); Cherronesos, (3rd century B.C.), AE 20 (5.204 grams), obv. Artemis in galloping quadriga to right, **D* above, rev. warrior kneeling left in defensive attitude with shield XEP below, (S.1666, BMC 5, Weber 2680). Well centred, all with even brown tone, fine - good very fine and very scarce. (3)
