MARCIAN, (A.D. 450-457), AE 4, Constantinople mint, (1.212 grams), obv. diademed bust of Marcian to right, around partial D N MARCIANVS P F AVG, rev. monogram of Marcian, S below, in wreath, CON in exergue, (S.4327, RIC 543); another (0.868 grams) Nicomedia mint, with NIC below in exergue, (S.4328, RIC 548). Fine - very fine both with clear reverse monograms, rare. (2)
