PHILIP I, (A.D. 244-249), silver antoninianius, Rome mint, (3.98 grams), obv. radiate bust to right, around IMP PHILIPPVS AVG, rev. she-wolf to left suckling the twins, around SAECVLARES AVGG, II in exergue, (S.2570, RIC 15, RSC 178) another (3.92 grams) similar I in exergue lion walking right, (S.2569, RIC 12, RSC 173). Both with very dark tone, Very fine or better, rare. (2)
