SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 208, (3.314 grams), obv. laureate head of Septimius Severus to right, around SEVERVS PIVS AVG, rev. around P M TR P XVI COS III P P, Genius standing half left naked to hips, holding patera and cornucopiae, (cf.S.1776, RIC 219, RSC 504). Nearly extremely fine and scarce.
