EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy XII, (80-51 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, second reign issue 55-51 B.C., issued year 29 = 53-52 B.C., (12.576 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. head of Ptolemy XII to right wearing aegis, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front L K**Q* over head-dress of Isis, around **PTOLEMAIOU BASILEWS*, (S.7948, Sv. 1839, SNG Cop 396, BMC 35-6, Pitchfork 121-3). Good very fine/very fine.
