IONIA, Ephesos, (280-258 B.C.), AE 15, (3.798 grams), obv. bee with open wings dividing E - **F, all within laurel wreath, rev. stag grazing to right, quiver above, below magistrate's name **[M]INNO[S]* (Minnos), (cf.S.4406, cf.BMC 83-85, SNG -,). Attractive brown patination, very fine and a rare type, the Magistrate only known for contemporary silver coinage.
