SOUTH ARABIA, Sabaeans and Himyarites, under 'Amdan Bayyin [without Yanaf], (mid 1st - 2nd century A.D.), scyphate silver quinarius, (1.468 grams), Raidan mint, obv. Male head to right, surrounded by penannular torc, rev. male head right with Himyarite legend around, monogram in field to right, (S.5717, BMC 1-5 [p.70, Pl.XI, 6-9], SNG ANS 1575-1594). Some dirt adhesion, otherwise extremely fine.
