PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates I, (c.171-138 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.87 grams), Hekatompylos mint, obv. large bust to left in bashlyk, rev. archer seated right on omphalos, three line inscription, with **QEDU* above, (cf.S.7329, Sellwood 10.15, cf.Shore 18). Cut in edge, with interesting reverse die break, nearly very fine and rare.

Ex Superior auction sale December 10, 1988 (lot 2128 part) and Noble Numismatics Sale 52 (lot 1965).
