CARIA, Halicarnassos, (377 - 360 B.C.), silver hemiobol (Persic standard), (0.318 grams), obv. head of ram to right, rev. young male head to right in incuse square, S to left **D* to right, (S. -, BMC [Cyprus Salamis 42-44], Troxell [Essays to Mildenberg] p.253 Pl.40, Nos. 9A, SNG Finland 866-902); Persian Imperial Coinage, Artaxerxes I (475-425 B.C.), silver siglos, struck in Lydia, (5.556 grams), obv. king bearded kneeling to right with spear over shoulder and holding a bow, rev. oblong incuse punch, (S.4682, Carradice Type IIIb). Fine; nearly very fine. (2)
