IONIA, Ephesos, (5th century B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (1.436 grams), obv. bee with tendrils, E **F* across, straight wings, rev. crude quadripartite incuse square, (S.4368, BMC 18-19, SNG Von Aulock 1824, SNG Munich 22, Nomismata 3, No.373). Very fine and very rare.
