MACEDON, Kingdom of, Perdikkas II, (451-413 B.C.), silver light tetrobol, first series issued 451/0-447/6 B.C., (1.73 grams), obv. horse prancing to right, within dotted border, rev. crested helmet to right in incuse square within linear border, (S.1487 [£150], SNG ANS 37-41, SNG Berry 68). Dark tone, nearly very fine/good fine and rare.
