SULTANS OF DELHI, Farid-ud-din Sher Shah Suri, (945-952 A.H., 1538-1545 A.D.), silver rupees, (11.28 grams), Gwalior Mint, dated 952, obv. three lines, (the Kalina), around (names of the four successors), rev. five lines (Sher Shah Sultan, May God Perpetuate his dominion, 952..), with sprig mint mark in square to right on reverse and date downwards on left ofof square, another (11.39 grams) similar but variant in Nagari script, another (11.30 grams) variant with arrow downwards in lower left corner, (cf.Rajgor 1659, M.2632, IMC 625, Wright 1066, cf.Hull 530). Nearly very fine - good very fine and very scarce. (3)
