CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 201-210, Rome mint, (3.770 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. Securitas seated to right on curule chair, altar before, around SECVRIT IMPERII, (S.1956, RIC 168, RSC 570). Small striking crack, otherwise good very fine and scarce.
