JULIA DOMNA, wife of Septimius Severus, (A.D. 193-217), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 200, (3.444 grams), obv. draped bust to right of Julia Domna, around IVLIA AVGVSTA, rev. Cybele towered seated to left on throne between two lions, holding branch and sceptre, around MATER DEVM, (S.1844, RIC 564 [Septimius], RSC 125). Nearly extremely fine.
