ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), AE sestertius, (27.20 grams), Rome mint, issued A.D. 145-161, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P COS IIII, rev. Roma seated left, holding Victory and spear, and S C across field, (S.-, RIC 780, C.753). Dark brown obverse patina, corrosion on the reverse, attractive good very fine/good fine, scarce.
