ANTONINIUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 145-161, (3.560 grams), obv. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P, laureate head to right, rev. COS IIII, clasped hands holding winged caduceus, (S.1237, RIC 136, RSC 344); another with only copper core of plated example. First coin good very fine and scarce, second coin porous and poor. (2)
