NERVA, (A.D. 96-98), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 96, (3.132 grams), obv. laureate head of Nerva to right, around IMP NERVA CAES AVG P M TR P COS II P P, rev. around LIBERTAS PVBLI[CA], Libertas standing to left, holding sceptre and bonnet, (S.954, RIC 7, RSC 106). Fine and scarce.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 52 (lot 2272) and Ken Jacobs Collection (with his ticket), who acquired it from Baldwins London in June 1953.
