VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 76, (25.07 grams), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to left, around IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG P M TR P PP COS VII, rev. around PAX AVGVST, Pax standing to left, holding branch and cornucopiae, (cf.S.2330 [£275 VF], RIC 573b, C.456). Dark green patina, some surface marks, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
