NERO, (A.D. 54-68), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 67-68, (3.10 grams), obv. laureate head of Nero to right, around IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P P, rev. around IVPPITER CVSTOS, Jupiter seated to left on throne, holding thunderbolt and long sceptre, (S.1943, RIC 69, BMC 80, C.123). Lightly toned, otherwise fine and rare.
