L. JULIUS BURSIO, (c.85 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.532 grams), obv. Genius (or Apollo Vejovis) bust laureate to right, trident and lyre behind, rev. Victory in quadriga to right, XO above, L. IVLI. BVRSIO in exergue, (S.268 [£40 VF], Cr.352/1c, Syd.728b). Dark uneven tone, edge chipped and off centred, otherwise very fine/good very fine.
