PALESTINE, Judaea, Second Revolt or Bar Cochba War, (A.D. 132-135), small bronze, AE 19, (5.29 grams), Third Coinage, undated attributed to year 3 = A.D. 134-5, obv. vine leaf, around Hebrew legend = 'For the Freedom of Jerusalem', rev. seven branch palm tree with legend in Hebrew 'Shim`on', (S.5691, Mildenberg 159 [these dies obv. 4, rev. 9], AJC 81a, BMC 99, H.739). Cleaned, a well struck example, very fine and scarce.
