CESSATION OF TRANSPORTATION 1853, Tasmania founded 1803, in white metal (58mm) by the Royal Mint, London (C.1853/2). Minor rim bruise otherwise fully brilliant uncirculated, an exceptionally well preserved specimen of this historical medal and rare in this condition.

Originally given to Frances Parramore of 'Wetmore' Ross, Tasmania. Sold with a white paper inscribed in ink and folded to hold the medal since it's issue.
